MUSIC PRODUCTION
Megan Timings EP (2020, WIP)
As an extension of my 2019 'Chiptune Pop EP' project, in 2020 I have been working on producing a full 5 track electronic pop EP. The EP draws influence from the 'pcmusic' genre and artists such as Charli XCX and Hannah Diamond, and aims to capture a heavily electronic, computerized and glitchy vibe.

This EP is composed, produced, recorded and mixed by myself, and is planned to be officially released in January 2021.
Chiptune-Pop Project (2019)
For my university dissertation, I created an EP influenced by the genre of music 'Chiptune', and attempted to combine the genre with pop music. For this project a lot of research was required in order to successfully create tracks that not only fit within the intended genre, but also used equipment, synthesizers and software that are typical to the genre.
I composed, produced, recorded, performed and mixed the tracks entirely myself, and finished the project with tracks that perfectly fused the two genres. This project taught me a lot about not only producing, composing and mixing a track, but also about the value of research when it comes to creating interesting and original sounding tracks.

Since the release of these singles, both have been featured multiple times on local radio, including BBC Introducing Coventry and Warwickshire and Hillz.fm, and together they have accumulated over 6.3k streams on Spotify and SoundCloud.

Collaboration EP Project (2019)
This was a project in which I worked with three other producers to create an EP. We created a total of 3 tracks, which we composed, produced, recorded and mixed. As everyone in the group assumed the role of artist for one track each, I had the chance to gain experience working closely with an artist for two of the tracks, producing, recording and mixing their songs.
Being the artist for the track 'Take You Back', I also had the opportunity to show off my skills as a producer/composer. This was a very valuable experience, and I learned much about working within a team to complete a creative project while having the opportunity to work in a professional studio environment.
